Siren watched as the sky turned from pale blue to crimson and orange and pink. The sky was lit on fire, just as the lake had always been, but the sky's fire was not the cool glittering that the lake was. "It is. beautiful and breath taking." she responded. She could not imagine a better time with Pyros at that moment. "This day has been so amazing altogether. It is hard to believe that it could ever be beat." She said after a few moments of silence. The sun was sinking lower, and now the fire of the lake was no longer cool and glittering, but red hot like the sky. A pretty park, a lake and a sunset. All with a guy who was a stranger to me yesterday. she thought. She knew why no other name had been chosen for the park. There was no word that would do the park justice as its name. And now the romance was complete. The only thing left undone was unreserved contact. Siren smiled peacefully, and watched the sky grow even darker.

Pyros noticed as she commented on the beauty of the sky and agreed with him. She then spoke of how the day had been amazing and couldn't imagine a better day than the one they were having, Pyros looked over at her. 'Well, what harm can come from asking her right? I mean the worst that can happen is she says no and things become awkward at work and I lose my job... Nothing that bad right?' Pyros thought sarcastically. He took in a deep breath and looked over at her, "Is there a chance... you would want to... go to the same place at the same time... with me?" Pyros asked her thinking about what he had said he thought it sounded stupid. He tried again, "What I mean is, will you have dinner with me some time?".

Siren watched the sky, but turned to pyros as he began to stammer out a question. His breathlessness was amusing, but she didn't laugh because she knew she would have had just as much trouble asking him the same question. She tilted her head as he seemed to dislike what he had said and tried again. This time, he sounded more confident, though there was still a guard in his voice. She smiled at him, and replied, "I think that there is definately a chance that I would like to do that." She didn't have any problem with agreeing to go out with him, because even her father had seemed to like him. There would be certain reasons to be cautious about getting into a relationship, but she thought that they could worry about that bridge when they got there. She knew one thing, though, that she definately enjoyed his company. I'll still have to deal with Erin, but it's too big an opportunity to refuse. I want to experience the world through his eyes, and hear his many thoughts. she thought, And there are so many things I want to experience that I could learn from him. Just knowing a guy that wasn't attracted to her wealth or her father's company exclusively was amazing. The stars were beginning to show in the sky, the stars in a rather round constellation forming a halo pattern around Pyros' head as she looked up at him.

Pyros smiled as she replied that she would like to go out with him. He looked into her eyes for a while before he turned up and noticed some stars were coming into vision, they looked beautiful in the sky above them, but Pyros noticed it was getting pretty late. "Its getting pretty dark, perhaps we should head back, I'll walk with you to your house iof thats alright with you?" Pyros asked as he stood up and put an hand down toward her to help her up.

Siren watched as a smile appeared on his face and he gazed into her eyes with a look she had yet to discover the meaning of. After a while he looked up unhurriedly into the sky and seemed to realize the time. He stood up and put a hand towards her as he offered to walk her home, but the way he had phrased the offer seemed strange to her. If its alright with me? she thought, If anything i should be asking if it's alright with him! She smiled and answered, "If it's no imposition to you. I would enjoy your company." She took his hand and let him help her onto her feet, but as soon as she stood, she was unsure whether to let go or keep holding on. After a moments thought she withdrew her hand slowly and waved it towards the direction they had come. "lead on." she said as she brought her hand back down by her side. The night was warm still, and the stars and moon lit the park with a soft natural glow that gave it a feeling of magic. It was hard for her to leave it, but at a leisurely pace, she followed Pyros as he lead the way through the trees and back into a world of technology and pollution.

He was glad she accepted his offer as she stood. "of course not, its an honor really" Pyros replied as she stood and held his hand for a moment longer before pointing it toward the way they had come from, Pyros looked over and led her the way back. They left the park and came back toward the street they had entered it from. He decided to take a different route to bring her home since she did live in a different place from Pyros, and there were much better routes to take.
He led her down the street before taking a right turn at the end of the road onto a walkway through a market area. "So, I noticed you enjoyed the park, is it that you love nature? or is there another reason you liked it?" Pyros asked her as they walked down the walkway, streetlights glowing around them, despite being on a walkway. They came to the end of the walkway and Pyros could already see her house in the distance, it was hard to miss, it was the most prominent building in the area that he knew of.
"Shouldn't be long before your home" Pyros told her as they came to the final stretch of road, it was pretty long, but at the end it would be a right turn and they would be able to see her gates from the corner. He looked up in the sky, noticing the moon high in amongst the midnight blue sky, it was a pretty sight. 'To think that we take these things for granted, we take life for granted... those around us that make us happy, the luxuries we have... will all be gone one day and we wont know how lucky we were in the first place' Pyros thought as he looked over at Siren, "I wont take life for granted anymore" Pyros said to himself as he reached for Siren's hand and held it, he wasn't worried whether she thought he was being too fast or irrational, he would live for the moment.

Siren walked beside Pyros, listening to the sounds of dusk, and enjoying the walk. He took her in a different direction than they had come from and she wondered at how well he knew the area. They came to a market area and Pyros asked her what about the park she had enjoyed, as they walked through. "Well, it was a combination of things. I do love nature. I think all living things are amazing. But thats not the only thing about the park that intrigued me. Its harder to explain, but it was just a feeling that i had while i was there. Complete calm, free of worry, happiness. All of that and more. It just had a completely positive feeling." she said, smiling as she described the reasons. There were few places that felt so peaceful and calmed her anxieties as well as the park had, but she coveted each of those that she found. He told her that she was almost home, and she could see her home as well. She nodded as she wondered what he thought of her response. She at Pyros for a moment, viewing the serious look he had on his face with curiosity. I wonder what he's thinking about. she thought. She looked ahead again, noticing the street lights as they turned on down the street, the night sky darkening still. She could feel his eyes on her, and he spoke. "sorry?" she asked, looking at him. He seized her hand and she felt her heart skip a beat within her chest. How do I react? she asked herself, trying to remain calm and rational. It would have been reflex to pull her hand away, but she observed her self control as she left her hand where it was. She looked down at their hands for a moment, still dazed and saw that her own fingers had intertwined with his. She blushed slightly and looked ahead, trying to hide the emotions that were forcing themselves out of her. now i think i can answer jack's question, though i don't think i will. she thought mischeviously. "I...." don't know what to say to him. she started to say something but stopped and finished the statement in her head. She closed her mouth, but opened it again as she thought of something to say, "I think the park would not have been as amazing if you had not been there." she offered, keeping her eyes on the ground as her cheeks turned pink again. She looked up as they turned another corner and she could see her house. The end of their evening was drawing nearer rapidly.

He looked over at Siren, observing her reaction to his actions. She looked down at their hands as Pyros noticed her begin to blush, he smiled as they continued walking. Pyros heard her saying something but then cut off and stop talking, he decided not to ponder on the thought and just cherish the moment. 'She hasn't pulled her hand away, thats a good sign right?' Pyros thought as she spoke again, this time saying that the park wouldn't have been as amazing if he weren't there. Pyros was happy to hear this and looked over at her, "I'm glad to hear that" Pyros replied with a smile on his face as they came to the gate of her house. He stopped and turned to her, "Well, its been a great day, if you want to give me your phone number or something, and we can talk about seeing each other again" Pyros asked her waiting for her to perhaps give him some form of contact detail.

Siren heard Pyros say that he was happy to hear that she had enjoyed the park because he was there. Almost as soon as he had finished the sentence, they had arrived at her gate and he stopped and turned to her. He asked her for her phone number and she nodded, pulling her wallet out of her pocket. She produced a business card and passed it to him. "It has my home phone, cell phone and email on it." she said, looking away, slightly embarrassed that she had had a card for him to take. she wasn't sure if he had figured out what she did for her father's company yet, but the cards had been made for her for that reason. She looked up at him again, unsure what sort of goodbye would be appropriate. She had kissed her ex boyfriends, but not usually until after a couple of dates, and she hugged most of her friends, but she knew them and was as comfortable around them as she was with her mother and father. Somehow, I don't think that a formal good bye would please him, though... she thought. She didn't know what he was used to when he said goodbye to someone he had just asked out. Suddenly, she smiled. She replaced her wallet into her pocket and said, "I guess, if I don't hear from you before then, I'll see you at work."

Pyros watched her take the card out of her wallet and hand it to him, she told him it had her home number, cell number and email address. She looked away, seeming embarrassed though he wasn't sure about what. "Cool, I look forward to seeing you again" Pyros replied as she looked up at him again and looked a little confused, she looked as if she wasn't sure whether to say bye and walk off or to stay. She then smiled as she put her wallet back into her pocket and told him if she didn't hear from him that she would see him at work, he smiled. "Don't worry, I'll definitely call you" Pyros told her as he knew she seemed uncomfortable and looked as if she didn't want to disappoint him by walking off, he thought he would make it easier on her and not put any pressure on her about a kiss or a hug. "Well, I better get going and im sure you have lots to do aswell, I'll see you around" Pyros told her as he slowly walked off towards his house and as he turned the corner of the street he looked back, getting a last glance of her before turning.
He placed his hands on the back of his head and looked up into the sky, it was dark and clouds had formed to cover the moon. 'I think she likes me, I hope this isn't another one of those rich girls that goes out with a poor guy for the ride and dumps me as soon as she realizes life in my position is hard and what she really wants is another rich guy' Pyros thought as suddenly it began to lightly rain. 'Rain...' Pyros thought as he pulled his hands down to his sides as he walked, he always felt good in the rain, it was like a medicine for him. He walked slowly as he noticed that all around him people were running through the rain to get to cover and shops were covering their products outside so to avoid spoiling them.
Pyros continued walking at his slow pace as people rushed around, he finally came to his house and opened the gate to his house before walked slowly toward the door, he got out his key and opened the front door, he entered his house and closed the door behind him. He walked over to his kitchen and opened the fridge, he grabbed a bottle of milk and opened it before sculling it down and throwing the bottle into the rubbish. 'Its been a great day' Pyros thought as he walked off towards his bedroom and lay down in the bed with his clothing on, not getting changed, he was too tired to change and fell asleep in his clothes as they were.

She saw him smile back as he told her not to worry about him not calling. She nodded and then heard him say that he should go. "Good night. Thank you for walking me home." she replied as she watched him walk slowly down the street, back towards the corner. He looked back once more before he disappeared around the bend. As soon as she was certain he was gone, she spun around like a ballerina happily. She opened her gate and walked through with a little hop in her step. "Thank you Erin." she whispered as she closed it behind her. She looked up at the sky, suddenly aware that the stars and moon had disappeared. She smiled as she felt a rain drop on her exposed skin. Could today get any better? she wondered as she stood in the middle of her yard with her arms raised to the rain, a gesture of welcome. I love the rain! she sighed happily. "If you stay out there, you'll catch a cold." she heard her father's voice at the front door. She lowered her head and looked at him with a smile on her face. "I don't suppose the rain is to thank for that glowing smile?" he asked as he smiled back. She shook her head. "Not entirely." she replied quietly, walking up to him. "I've just had such an amazing day." She passed by him into the house, and felt the difference as she passed out of the rain. Her hair was dripping wet against her skin, and her shirt was flecked with water spots. "Well, you be careful, alright? Don't be giving away your heart as quickly as you did last time." he looked at her with concern. She looked back at him, her expression matching his solemn face as she recalled her last boyfriend. It had been six months since she had dated him, but she hadn't filled the gap with any other men. Erin had tried to set her up in that time, but she had just told the men that she wasn't interested. Pyros had been the first to get any acknowledgement in that time, and he had recieved her against her will, but she liked that she felt happy in his presence. "Don't worry father. I think I'm okay now, and even if it happens again, it will be a learning experience." she smiled at him. She was feeling optimistic. Her day had gone very well, and now it was raining, and she felt at peace. "I'm going to bed now." she said as she walked down the hallway and then up the stairs towards her room. She opened the door, then closed it behind her as she walked across the room. She chose a pair of bed clothes and changed before going to her bathroom and brushing her teeth and hair. She then returned to her bed and climbed under the covers and fell asleep thinking about her day.
