Pyros looked up at the persocom, "I guess we don't have any other need for him" Pyros replied as he was still amazed at how human persocoms were. 'Skin like a human, attitudes like a human & all the other abilities humans possess plus many we don't, they are the ultimate being' Pyros thought as the persocom began walking away. "Bye!" he shouted after it as it disappeared.
Pyros looked around and saw the street that lead to the park. "Well, the beautiful park I mentioned before is just in that direction" Pyros said as he pointed down the street. "Its really a great park, it has a lovely walk by a lake and so many plants, its like the garden of Eden" Pyros told her as he lead her down the street.

Siren sent the persocom home, and watched as Pyros yelled goodbye to it. He really is amazed by them. she thought, Well, by the time he decides its time for a new job, he'll be sick of them. At least, something like that... She smiled and waited to depart from his house. He started them off down the street and described the park to her. It sounded beautiful the way he explained it. "Well, then I'm glad that you're taking me to see it." she said. She couldn't imagine wanting to be anywhere else at that moment. "It sounds perfect." She watched the houses go past as she was lead towards the park that sounded like a dream to her.

Pyros lead them down the road and took a turn to the left as she said she was glad he was taking her to the park and said it sounded perfect. "Well, its almost perfect, if it weren't for people polluting the place it would be, but you can't really help that, there will always be pollution and littering around" Pyros said as he took a right.
He thought about it and remembered when he was younger that he had taken a shortcut through some back alleys and avenues to get there. "This way" Pyros said as he lead her through a broken a fence into a small alley that cut through the street. "I remember a few shortcuts from when i was younger" Pyros told her as they hit the main street again. "Its not that far now" Pyros told her as he walked down the road and saw the sign for the park which was ahead of them. "Thats it over there" Pyros told her as the sign appeared in view, it just said 'Local Park' on it, though the park was more magnificent than just a small local park.

Siren listened to Pyros as he talked about the pollution and litter that the park suffered for, seeming to accept the fact that it wasn't going to get any better. "Yes, I suppose you're right." she replied, barely noticing the things around her as she thought about the saddening fate of nature. Why do we ruin such beautiful things? she thought, knowing the answer to her own question. For convenience. He cut into her thoughts as he said he knew a short cut. She looked up, a little dazed, but followed him as he lead her through a back alleyway. As they reached a street he said that it wasn't far, and she looked ahead to see a small sign signifying the location of the park. I wonder why they did not give it a better name? she thought. As they passed the sign, Siren could just make out the edge of the lake through the trees that bordered the property. She was beginning to wonder what Pyros must be thinking about as they passed through the trees and made it into a clearing of sorts. He was right; the path wound down to pass around the lake. But the park was more than beautiful; she looked around at the many flowers and plants that grew within. She could see the many couples that traipsed around, holding hands and smiling peacefully at each other. The serenity of the nature that surrounded them seemed to add to the romantic mood of the lake front park. "Its amazing!" she whispered in wonder, taking everything in at once.

They got into the park and Pyros saw how Siren seemed amazed at the sight of it, she had obviously never been there before. Pyros had been to the park many times throughout his life, when he was younger he came down and thought about things when life was giving him trouble and even up to that very day he would still go down and walk by the lake when things troubled him.
Pyros focused on reading Siren's reactions to the park more than he did the beauty of the park. She seemed to love the place and she said it was amazing as her eyes seemed to glisten as she looked over the lake and plants around them. "It sure is" Pyros said as he stepped over next to her, he looked over at the couples that walked around the lake and the couples that sat by the lake. 'Every time I come here I wonder when that will be me sitting by the lake with someone' Pyros thought as his eyes glanced over to Siren for a moment. 'Maybe...' Pyros thought on as he looked down at the lake as the water glistened from the sun hitting it and reflecting its rays into their eyes.

The lake sparkled, reflecting the light of the sun, creating the passionate image of fire burning. Siren could feel Pyros get slightly closer to her, feel the warmth of his body emmanating onto her own skin, and once more thought about his arms enveloping her. She didn't realize that she herself had moved until she suddenly felt a contact between them, and she pulled her arm away suddenly, wrapping them around her in a protective manner. "W-would you like to sit down?" she asked, trying to recover her senses, trying to become alert of other things than him. She looked towards the ground, trying to hide the redness of her cheeks, burning from... from what? she wondered, Why am I so insecure? Is it a need to prove I don't have the same needs as everyone else? A need to reject the feelings that I know I will someday have no power over? Some inherent need to have control over every aspect of my life? I want to break free of that, to do something impulsive and unplanned. Without waiting for his response, Siren dropped to the grassy ground she had been standing on, sitting on a slight incline with her knees up but not pulled towards her. She hoped that Pyros sat down beside her, or even more, hoped that he would pull her back onto her feet, wrapping his arms around her. Day-dreaming already? she shook the thoughts away. Just sit down. she thought decisively. She lifted her face to the lake once more as she felt her blush recede, and thought about the beauty that surrounded her, trying to get her mind off the touch, the feeling of it the only clear thing in her mind.

Pyros felt their skin collide, it was a warm and happy sort of feeling, but she pulled herself away from him and wrapped her arms around herself before asking if he wanted to sit down. He looked over at her as she dropped to the ground and sat down, she seemed to be thinking deeply as she looked out toward the lake and the other things that surrounded them. Pyros didn't drop down next to her at the moment, he looked over at the lake and then around at the things that surrounded them before he looked up at the sun. 'A beautiful day...' He thought before he slowly sat down next to her looking out over the lake.
He closed his eyes and listened to everything around him. He could hear birds chirping and the leaves rustling in the trees that surrounded them. He listened further as he heard children playing and running around the lake, it was a nice feeling to envision everything around him. He then heard the water over the lake and Siren next to him breathing, he opened his eyes and looked over to her. "Do you ever wonder why we meet particular people? Do you think that perhaps everyone we meet in life serves a special purpose in our lives?" He asked her as he looked over at the lake and the children he had heard playing on the other side.

Siren couldn't seem to shake the feeling of his skin on hers. Her heart was still beating much too fast for her liking, and she hoped that Pyros couldn't hear it too. She heard him sit down quietly beside her after a few minutes. He didn't mention the touch and didn't tell her that she seemed distracted, and it was agonizing wondering what he was thinking. Suddenly he began to ask about profound fate questions. "Yes." she answered. She thought her voice sounded shaky in her head, and hoped that Pyros wouldn't notice. "Everyone we meet affects our lives, like a butterfly effect, and no one can predict the outcome." She turned her head towards him as she finished her sentence and looked at him. She'd given up on trying to think about something else.

She answered yes to his question and began to speak of her beliefs about it, how she thought everyone had an affect on their lives and that it was impossible to predict the outcome. Pyros replayed the words in his head as he turned to face her, "Thats an..." Pyros' words broke up as he noticed she was looking at him and that after turning his head they were only centimeters from each others face. "...Interesting view" Pyros finished the sentence as he noticed he had been staring into her eyes for a long time, he turned his head back toward the lake and blushed slightly. "Sorry, I just... Got caught in your eyes, they are beautiful" Pyros said as he looked back over to her for a short moment, to see how she would react to his comment.

Siren watched as Pyros seemed to think about her comment for a moment. He turned to look at her and began to speak, but broke off for a moment before finishing the thought. He seemed caught up on something, staring into her eyes and making her feel slightly uncomfortable like a bug under a microscope. She saw his cheeks turn a soft pink color as he turned towards the lake again. She was just about to turn away as well when he turned back to look at her and explained why he'd taken so long to say the four words about her comment. He seemed to be waiting for a response to his compliment to her eyes, as he continued to look at her. It was Siren's turn to blush as she heard him say that her eyes were beautiful, and she stammered, "Thank you." before biting her lip anxiously. She didn't know what to say to him, and any words that might have come out of her mouth were caught in her throat. It was a while before she was able to look him in the eyes again.

Pyros noticed her begin to blush as she thanked him for the compliment and looked away from him. "Your welcome" Pyros replied. He knew he had created an awkward moment for both of them and wasn't sure if he should have said what he had, but it had been said and it couldn't be taken back now. 'I wonder if it was a good idea to have said that' Pyros thought as he looked over the lake again, he seemed to find it as the best way to do something but still be able to listen to her if she said anything.

The slience was grating on Siren's mind. What do I do? What do I say to him? she thought, looking around the lake but not seeing. She could feel walls closing in on her as she struggled to calm herself down. she closed her eyes for a moment and started to breathe more calmly, to control herself. In, out, in, out.... she thought as she slowly inhaled and exhaled. As she had gained control, she opened her eyes again, and looked at the glittering water below. She layed back, completely on the ground and stared up at the fluffy clouds that passed overhead. The sky reminded her of freedom, the closest anyone could ever get to being free in this world. Children had the grace of the most freedom, even though they seemed to always think some injustice was being done to them. They could run and scream and play to their heart's content, without the fear of being called immature or irresponsible, because that was the embodiment of childhood. It was your time to be free before you had to join the real world without looking back. I should have taken advantage of that time, instead of closing myself up in my room all the time. We all should have taken advantage of that time... she thought as she watched wisps of white travel across the blue of the sky. She sighed, and wondered what Pyros thought of freedom. "What do you think real freedom is?" she asked, glancing at him momentarily, before looking back up at the sky. Her hair framed her head in a halo like pattern on the grass under her head. She wanted to believe that freedom was attainable for anyone, but she didn't think that the way they were living their lives was free. There was always something that held her back from that fulfilling feeling.

Pyros watched the lake for a long time, until he noticed Siren lay back and look up at the sky and the clouds as they went by slowly. He looked down at her but decided he would not lie down aswell, instead he would sit up, he heard her ask him what he thought real freedom was, it was a pretty general question and many things came into mind when he thought of freedom, ironically most of the things that came to mind were things that suppressed freedom, like governments or feelings.
He looked down at her, "Thats a good question, I guess... real freedom is..." Pyros began before he even had formed a sentence in his mind. "Its... being able to feel whatever you and express yourself without worrying about anyone else's oppinions or breaking a rule, just being able to live for the moment and forgetting about the effect of your actions" Pyros explained as he thought about the problems freedom caused. "The only problem is, if freedom was without the shackles of the government and rules, we wouldn't be able to live, our own beliefs would overrule others and the world would end up in massive conflict, thats why we are bound down by the rules and that we can never be truly free or experience real freedom" Pyros explained beginning to think he sounded a little like a politician.

Siren turned her head slightly towards Pyros as he told her what he thought freedom was. Thats how you break an awkward silence. Ask a guy a question. she thought. She listened to his explanations, and smiled at him. "Yes, anarchy, what a beautiful thing." she said sarcastically. "Oh, to be a bird and fly away from my worries. Never a good thing, but it would be amazing." she said, turning her eyes back to the sky. She sighed, not saddly, but in peace with her mind.

Pyros listened to her add her own opinion aswell as he looked toward the sky and noticed the sun was setting, it was the beginning of the end of the day. He looked over at the sky that turned a bright orange color as the sun disappeared behind the hills of the city. "Its a beautiful sunset don't you think?" Pyros asked Siren as he turned his head to look at her, he realized she was also looking up into the sky, his eyes traveled down her body and examined her completely. 'To believe someone so... amazing would be interested in spending time with me' Pyros thought as he turned his head back at the sky and watched the sunset for a while.
