Pyros looked her with lots of confusion, he had no idea on the first thing about cooking, if he did, he might have a chance of getting a good home cooked meal every once and again, instead he spent most of the time eating take away. "I don't know how to cook, I'm actually pretty hopeless at it" Pyros replied as she asked him.

Siren smiled Perhaps, if he lets me, i could make something for him she thought, trying not to get her hopes up too much. They seemed to be talking more business than anything else, though. "well, there are a few places looking for hosts... seat people in booths, take their orders, take their money." she said, her expression thoughtful. "would you feel comfortable doing that?" She brought her attention back to him.

Pyros thought about the job she was talking about, the kind of job where the customer is always right, taking complaints about people who ordered hours ago only to have their food arrive cold or that there was too much pepper on the steak, It was nothing for him, but he would take whatever he could.
"Well, I'm not usually up for that kind of work, I am happy with a manual kind of job, something like moving crates around or unpacking boxes, I prefer a job where I don't have to be too social with customers that might get mad" Pyros replied.

Siren chuckled in agreeance. She wouldn't have gotten along very well in a 'social service' type of job. "Well..." she began, weighing the pros and cons of alerting him to her lifestyle, "my father's company is hiring people to load their products onto the transport trucks. It is my understanding that the wage is pretty decent as well." She was still wary of what his reaction would be, since she'd usually gotten one of two; their eyes would light up at the thought of dating a rich girl, at the thought of an easy life or they would look at her as if she was a snob and walk away as if they had no chance of ever living up to her expectations, or her father's. The fact that they would assume either was cause for despair for her and she hoped that she could discover a new reaction with Pyros.

Pyros listened to her chuckle before telling him of a truck loading job that her father was looking for to work for his company. 'Her father owns a company, wow... thats impressive, I wonder what kind of company it is' Pyros thought as he thought about the job and the kind of work he would be doing.
Pyros then heard her say that the pay was decent, he thought about all the good things about the job and they heavily outweighed any problems with him taking the job. "Well, It sounds like the perfect job to me, and I could really use it" Pyros replied thinking about how he was so broke at the moment.

Siren smiled shyly. "I will introduce you to my father then. With my recommendation, it isn't likely that you will be turned away." she told him. She glanced momentarily at Erin as her friend made an insinuating face at her. I don't think she heard the whole conversation... probably just the part about meeting my father.. Siren thought. "When would you like to do that?" she asked him, suddenly more aware of the absense of a persocom for her to give her number to. She would have to write it down on a piece of paper if he decided that he wouldn't go with her today.

Pyros noticed her smiling shyly, Pyros couldn't help but smile back at her. She told him he would be introduced to her father with her recommendation, Pyros was glad to hear that he would not be turned down if he had her recommendation. 'Finally, a job' Pyros thought as he noticed Siren looking around for something, he had no idea what and decided not to ask her.
She then asked him when he would like to meet her father and go for the job, he wasn't sure, but he knew he had nothing to do for the rest of the day, The only problem was he wasn't sure whether or not she was busy. "Well, Whenever you have time to introduce me to him, I have nothing to do today if thats alright with your schedule?" Pyros replied asking if she was alright with that day.

Siren was still smiling as she nodded, "Of course, today is fine. Uhm... I'll just have to tell my friend." she told him. She looked at her friend more freely now, giving her the 'come back her now' look. Erin's expression changed to one of concern as she maneuvred around the chairs and tables back to their own. "Is something the matter?" Erin mouthed as she approached, hiding her words from Pyros with her hand. "I'm going to leave now. I'm taking Pyros to meet my father." Siren said. Erin raised a single eyebrow, but lowered it again as siren continued. "i'm going to take him to see about a job." "Well, you two, uh.. enjoy yourselves. I'll be at home. Call me later, okay?" Erin replied. "It was nice meeting you Pyros." she dismissed herself, leaving the internet cafe and heading home. "Shall we?" Siren asked.

Pyros listened as she said she had to notify her friend as she gave a signal to her friend. Her friend came over, it was the one that had come over to Pyros and started this whole thing, He was glad now that she did start it. Pyros listened as the two of them conversed for a while, trying as best they could to keep their conversation away from Pyros' ears. Finally the two of them stopped talking and she looked over at Pyros saying she was happy to have met him and dismissed herself. "It was a pleasure myself..." Pyros said as she rushed out so quickly Pyros' words seemed to just trail off behind her. Siren then requested they get going, "We shall" Pyros replied gesturing for her to lead the way.

Siren stood up from her chair and grabbed her sweater, putting it on. She lead the way out of the internet cafe and started off towards her house. They arrived within minutes at the front of her father's large, secure house. Pulling out her key she inserted it into the lock on the gate and pushed it open. "My father decided to work at home today. This is my house." she said, looking back at Pyros. "Please, come in." she invited him to enter her property as a tall, dark haired male persocom walked up. He had been created by her so that his E.A.R.S were not visible. "Where is father?" Siren asked her persocom as he arrived. "Mr. Avalon is in the gardens." He replied, his eyes turning to Pyros. "We have a guest?" Siren nodded. "Yes, this is Pyros Shadow. Thank you." she said, closing the gate behind Pyros. "We'll go straight to the garden, if you like, Pyros?" She asked as the male persocom walked away.

Pyros waited as she grabbed her sweater and headed out of the internet cafe. Pyros followed her closely hoping not to get lost in the busy city since it was basically rush hour and it was like trying to get through an ant hole crowded with ants. 'I can't believe it, I'm finally getting a job and even better, its going to be on recommendation' Pyros thought as they arrived infront of a large house with lots of security.
'Woah, they must be loaded... I thought she was talking about a family business like a bakery or something but he must have some coperate business going on' Pyros thought as she opened the gates and entered. A persocom came over and spoke with Siren for a while as Pyros examined the persocom, "Cool... she has a persocom, wait, ofcourse she has a persocom, look at this place!" Pyros said whispering the persocom part but shouting out 'look at this place'. He was a little embarrassed, he was meant to be speaking to himself.
Pyros watched as she bid the persocom farewell and closed the gate behind them. Siren asked him if he wanted to go straight to the garden where her father was, "Yeah ofcourse" Pyros said as he followed her toward the garden. Pyros looked around, the place was amazing, so many plants, fountains... it looked like a mansion fit for a king! "So, what kind of company does your father run?" Pyros asked her.

Siren heard pyros' exclamation at the size of her house and smiled in amusement. She lead him around to the back of the house, where the gardens were. They had a few persocoms to maintain them, but usually her mother liked to work in the garden to relax, and she never ran out of work to do. As they rounded the final corner into the gardens she heard Pyros ask her what kind of company her father owned. She wasn't surprised at the question, since she hadn't really given him any idea how big their estate actually was. "He owns a company that engineers, programs, and produces persocoms and many of the products that you can buy for them." she answered. She spotted her father among the lilies in his favourite garden chair, and began to lead Pyros towards him. He had been reading the business section of the newspaper, but he put it down as she approached with Pyros. "Hello Siren." he greeted her pleasantly before he shifted his eyes to look past her. "And who is this?" She saw her father raise his eye brows and rolled her eyes at him. "This is Pyros Shadow. He's looking to aquire a job in the warehouse." she told him. "Pyros, this is my father, Tori Avalon." she introduced her father.

Pyros continued to look around at the many sights the land had to offer as she told him of her fathers business. 'Wow, thats quite an empire he must have, I've never met a girl with this kind of luxury that actually took a second thought about getting to know me' Pyros thought as he finally saw her father in a chair reading the business section of the newspaper before putting it down as they approached, Pyros could see her was your typical business man, dressed formally sitting in his backyard reading the business section of the news.
As they approached Siren introduced Pyros as a man in search of work. Pyros remained silent for a moment as they conversed. 'I can't imagine the kinds of things he does with his life, or how he got to such a position with his life' Pyros thought as Siren introduced him to Pyros. He stepped forward and put a hand forward to shake her father's. "Hello sir, Its a pleasure to meet you" Pyros greeted him, hoping not to come off as some broke guy in desperate need of a job.

Tori stood as she introduced him and looked Pyros over. "he looks strong." he noted aloud. As Pyros placed his hand out and greeted her father formally, he added, "And polite." Siren watched as her father took Pyros' hand firmly within his own and shook it, and she could see an amused smile creep onto his face. Her father met her eyes, and asked in a cruelly level voice. "And you think that I should give him that job?" She knew it was a rhetorical question, but nodded anyway, showing Pyros that her recommendation had been given. He put on a pensive look, to make it look like he was considering it, though he'd already made the decision. "well...." he began, bringing his hand up to his chin thoughtfully, "Alright. You've got the job young man. If my daughter thinks that you would be suited to it, then I agree. She is often right." after a moment, he whispered to Pyros, "I think she gets if from her mother." his amused look back.

Pyros shook his hand, happy to hear his comments as he conversed with Siren. 'I hope I get it...' Pyros thought as they spoke about whether Pyros was fitting for the job, he thought it was going well though from the way Tori looked glad. Tori began with 'well' and Pyros had an anxious look on his face, we was hoping that wasn't the kind of well that people ended with 'Your not what were looking for'.
Tori then said that he had the job and trusted Siren's decision to recommend Pyros. "Thank you sir, I wont let you down" Pyros replied to him with a smile on his face. He then said that she must have got that talent from her mother, Pyros smiled to go along with the amusement he seemed to be getting from the comment. "So, can we speak about the details of the job? Perhaps later over lunch or something like that? So I can get better acquainted with your family and get to know you as my boss" Pyros suggested, now worrying about what he had just offered, he wasn't sure if it made him seem like he was trying to get too close to them for a first meeting.
